False Advertising

This week for maniklani, we did false advertising, my partner Hannah and I chose to do false advertising about us getting more followers than charli d'amelio, a tik tok. We are quite pleased with how the results came out and it looks kinda real. Let us know if it looks really for you. 

  

What Is Media?

In maniklani we were learning about media,we had to write on a shared doc different types of media. Many people put different types of social media including snapchat, instagram and tiktok. So the task for maniklani was to create a poster that talks about media. I have chosen to write about the 3 medias - print, news and broadcast media.  I created this on presentation and copied pictures from the internet. One thing I would do differently is put a bit more information and make it a bit more exciting to look at; other than that I kinda like it.

Its The Impossible Game!

Hi, im glad your on my blog and obviously looking at this game. For 4 weeks we went to tonui collab, we had the guy named mac who taught my class and I heaps of stuff about coding. Using all the knowledge he taught us, we started using this app name marcode arcade. We learnt how to program, improve and play with our sprites - if you were wondering a sprite is the avatar that you play the game with - mine is the monkey.  During our time we also participated in lots in fun games. So this is the game I created at tonui,  when i say this game is impossible, it really is. Let me know if there needs any improvements. 

The way you play is you press the space button to start the game then you use the up, left and right keys to direct the sprite. Avoid the deaths and collect the flowers good luck, it's impossible.

The One And Only Quiz

For maniklani, our class made a scratch game to teach anyone basic maori. This is the game I came up with, I used tipu for the words and to help me. I found it really fun to make; creating my character was my favorite part. One thing I found difficult was the coding - it took me a long time - though I got there in the end. It took me forever to do the talking part of the game, and I nearly ran out of time. 

Something I would do differently next time is make the game more interactive with the person who is playing the game. Overall I'm pleased with the result. Hopefully you like it to.

How to hold your computer

During Maniklani, we had to do a we-video on how to hold your chromebook/ computer correctly. I did this task with my friend Hannah and I'm pretty pleased with the result. Our criteria was we had to talk about how to and how not to hold the computer and make it fun. The editing is quite good; I like when we did the little screens. One thing I would do differently is add more detail when we're talking. The end result was good ( though the acting is quite cringe 😂)

Piskel Task

In class our task was to create a character for a game/animation so I did a fox. I really enjoyed doing this task because it was fun creating your own pixel, the thing I would do differently is change the colours and make it more brighter. Thankfully everything turned out alright and i'm pretty happy with the results. Do i need to improve on anything?

Copyright Challenge

for maniklani this week, we did a copyright challenge were we had to have a pictures about us an what we like. For instance we had to do a picture of our age and our name; also the sport we play, favourite food and our favorite colour.

I'm pretty happy how it came out, but one thing I would change is make the image seem more interesting. If you have any advice let me know.
